" Frontwoman Sabrina Rockarena possesses a seductively soft voice that's capable of sounding good and pissed off when required. 70's Style hard rock with a twist of sleaze, with a more contemporary garage sound. It all works rather well on sultry opener 'Mr President', the manic 'Double Shot' and the classic rock balladry of 'Cold'. With Seattle being the accepted home of grunge, its nice to hear something decidedly more upbeat coming out of the rainy city. "

"KERRANG!"
" Do you hate people who say "You go, girl"? Spit on
insecure femmes who talk about their inner goddesses? Have you been yearning
for the sonic equivalent of a shot of adrenaline straight into the heart? But from
a tough-ass rocker-chick frontwoman instead of a greasy guy?
Me, too. This CD holds the answers. "

"JANE Magazine"
" Nearly every song here has a sharply drawn chorus and a melody that permanently sticks to the brain on impact. There's a lot here for college and modern rock radio programmers to grab onto
- and needles to say, this is a wise option for A & R execs to explore. "
"Billboard Magazine"
" I could go on and on about how great this CD is,
but know one thing: I get a lot of music for review and
rarely does a CD actually stay in my CD player for more than a week...
Cookie's "Sweat-Soaked & Satisfied" is moving into my
permanent collection and hopefully yours soon. Don't let it pass ya
by..." 10 out of 10 stars!
"The New Digital Reporter"
" If you dig the Supersuckers or Elvis
Presley, you're gonna dig Cookie. If you're into Kris
Kristofferson or the New York Loose, you're gonna adore
Cookie. If AC/DC, Johnny Cash, Tex and the
Horseheads, Joan Jett, Eddie Cochran, fuck, if you dig
rock and roll in any form (not to mention sex, cars, and dancin'),
than you are going to fall madly in love with Cookie, I guarantee
it. "
"Sleezegrinder"
" Highway Star" is one of the best covers I've heard since Antiseen's
cover of "Hellstomper.. " If you like driving guitars, sexy female
vocals, pumping bass lines and powerful drums, then you'll love this CD. Plus,
how can anyone hate a band that gives props to all the twenty dollar hookers of
the world."
"Zero Magazine"
" (Sabrina RockArena)"
wields enough fearsome
charisma that you could envision her scaring the pants
off Courtney Love "
"The Stranger"
" Cookie is everyones favorite punk trio and, now that
Xena has retired, Sabrina RockArena is the hero this
world needs "
"Seattle Weekly"
" Cookie made a believer out of the back-row cynics
(of the Van's Warped Tour '99). "
"Seattle Times"
" Sabrina RockArena, the gingery front woman for Seattle-based
rock & roll band Cookie, is an innate rock star. Guitarist
Jayme Layme is so darn Nicholas Cagey is his safety-pinned
leather pants you'll think you're watching a sequel
to Valley Girl. You'll see stars. "
"OC Weekly"
" Texacala Jones takes a stab at fronting Motley Crüe.
The results are glorious. "
